PM: Introit Mondays--16th. Sunday Of Oridnary Time

Behold, God is my helper, and the Lord is the upholder of my soul; turn back all the evil, against my enemies, destroy them in your fidelity, O Lord, the protector of my life.

V. Save me, O God, by your name, and render justice unto me in your strength.

Ps. 53:6, 7; V. 3

Again, there are hints of the the Lord's Prayer here. The seventh petition, being delivered from evil, resonates in this verse.
