The Dash

I found this on the 'blog Life Behind The Zion Curtain. The 'blogmistress, Catherine Garcia, sent me the background to this. The poem is by Linda Ellis. It is about how we spend our lives between the day we are born to the day we pass away. On this Labor Day, it is also a reminder of the words of John Paul II, who said that work was created for man, not man for work.

Our first "job" is to love.
